This is kind of like speed dating and it's my turn to talk...


 Cheryl is an award-winning actress who has performed in Broadway, Regional Theatre and Film/TV for over 25 years. She is best known for her work in the feature film No Letting Go (2016) where she played the lead role of Catherine, a mother whose son suffers from mental illness. She starred opposite KATHY NAJIMY, RICHARD BURGI, ALYSIA REINER and JANET HUBERT. Cheryl's work in the film garnered her the Best Leading Actress Award at the 2015 Southampton International Film Festival (UK) and Best Lead Actress in a Feature Film at 2015 Sydney Indie Film Festival. She also received the Award of Excellence for Leading Actress from the Accolade Global Film Competition and the IndieFest Film Awards. The feature is based on the award winning short film Illness in which Cheryl also received critical acclaim as Catherine winning Best Leading Actress at the Southampton International Film Festival (UK) and Northwest Ohio Independent Film Festival in 2013. She also received a nomination for Best Actress in a Short Film at the Long Beach International Film Festival in 2014.

A stage veteran, Cheryl received the BroadwayWorld Award for Best Lead Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Truvy in Steel Magnolias, starring opposite the iconic RUTA LEE. She also received the 2016 Column Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for for her portrayal of Madame Thenardier in critically acclaimed production of Les Miserable at the historic Casa Manana. Television work includes Dallas, As The World Turns and Salvation. Her commercial work includes Golf Channel, FOX and an Emmy Nomination (LoneStar) for her role in a series of Texas Rangers Baseball spots. 

As a solo artist, she has sung on numerous recordings including projects with world renowned violinist and Hollywood Bowl Associate Concertmaster, Robin Olson. She has worked as a session singer for media companies including Fox and MyNetwork Television Stations, Disney Channel, Bet (Black Entertainment Television), TLC (The Learning Channel), Columbia Pictures Home Video, Autonomy Post Production and FirstCom Music, a division of Universal Music Group. She also recorded a series of vocals for Fox Television Stations' syndicated programming including King of the Hill, Seinfeld, My Name is Earl, House of Payne and The Office
